Built from a love of food, backed by real industry experience

Remsen founded Mochiva after years in the international food industry — working with bakeries, foodservice operators, and distributors across Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. Before that, he supported sales expansion for a leading food manufacturer and represented the brand at trade shows across Asia. That hands-on experience shaped a simple conviction: great mochi shouldn't be hard to make, whether you're producing at scale or crafting by hand.

Remsen also helped build a multilingual AI chatbot powered by product knowledge — giving customers instant answers at trade shows and beyond. He's bringing that same mindset to Mochiva: using technology to make business easier for partners through faster support, smoother ordering, and clearer product guidance. With a background in business analytics from Carnegie Mellon University and finance from The Ohio State University, Mochiva is built thoughtfully, precisely, and with every partner in mind.
